Weigh-in at 5 p.m., pull starts at 6 p.m.

General Information Antique Tractor Pull

    • Friday, September 8, 2017, Richland County Fairgrounds.
    • Registration, weigh in and drawbar measuring will start at 5 p.m.
    • Antique tractors will be 1960 and earlier tractors
    • Pull will be in order of weight classes
    • Tractor pull rules and classes subject to change by agreement of the tractor pull committee.

Classes - Classic

        7500# & 8500# -- with no larger than 18.4" x 38" tires
9500# & 11,500# -- with no larger than 18.4" x 42" or 20.8" x 38" tires
12,500# --  with no larger than 20.8" x 42" or 20.8" x 38" tires

Truck Pull - Payout for the 2017 truck pull are as follows: 
1st place $100 and trophy
2nd place $75
3rd place $25


Tractor Pull - Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place winners in each class.



Garden Tractor Pull

Sunday, September 10, 2017 -- Richland County Fairgrounds
9 a.m.

Classes - Open to all brands of stock garden tractors

  • 8HP and under Stock GT - under 1,000 lbs.
  • 9HP to 14HP Stock GT - under 1,050 lbs.
  • Over 14HP Stock GT - under 1,5050 lbs.
  • Open Stock - under 1,050 lbs. (this class is for anything the committee feels would have an unfair advantage in the other 3 classes)

Buckeye Wheel Horse Collectors Clubs - Stock GT Pulling Rules
We have established rules to minimize puller and spectator hazards and to promote fair competition. These rules may be updated to reflect any changes to maintain these goals.

General Rules - Mandatory Drivers meeting Prior to Pull
1. This pull is designed for a FUN STOCK GARDEN TRACTOR PULL. No prizes just a good time.
2. These will be a 25' false start line - 1 time only
3. Tractor and sled must remain in track boundary
4. Driver MUST remain in the seat for duration of pull NO standing up
5. Driver MUST have at least one hand on steering wheel during the pull
6. All pulls will start with a tight chain. NO JERKING
7. NO shifting of gears while pulling
8. Anything falling from your tractor will result in disqualification
9. All tractors are limited to one operator at a time, however a tractor may be used with multiple drivers (except for children under 12 - see rule 10)
10. Parent/Guardian MUST walk-along with children under 12
11. All children under 12 REQUIRED to wear a helmet
12. To keep things competitive if TRACK OFFICIALS or committee feels you have an unfair advantage they will move you to the open class
13. Decisions of TRACK OFFICIALS or committee are final. Arguing will result in disqualification
14. All drivers and parent/guardian MUST sign a liability waiver

General Tractor Specifications - All tractors will have a safety inspection before pulling
1. All tractors must have seat, fenders, hood, grill or nose piece and appropriate guards and/or shields.
2. All tractors must have working brakes and steering
3. Drawbar:
A. All tractors should have a drawbar that is stationary in all directions
B. My be factory and must be no more than 3/4" thickness or less than 1/4" thickness
C. Hitch must be parallel to the ground and NOT more than 13" from the ground
D. Nothing can interfere with the hitch or sled chain: Hitch must be readily accessible
4. Weights are recommend and must be secured. If they fall off you will be disqualified
A. Rear weight bracket cannot exceed 24" from the center of the rear axle to the furthest point back.
B. Front weights cannot exceed 96" from center of the rear axle to the furthest point forward
C. Weights cannot interfere with hooking to the sled.
5. If there is a scale available we may weigh your tractor. Please remember we are just having FUN.
6. Weight classes are the total weight of the tractor, weights and driver
7. Tires must be rubber and be a factory or dealer standard or option. MAXIMUM tire size allowed is 26x12x12 UNLESS larger wheel size was standard on your model tractor
A. NO chains or studs
8. Cut tires, dual tires, twin cylinder and diesel engine are permitted in Open Class ONLY.
